Well i have a 94 s10 and was hooking up a kenwood amp i have for my component speaker set. First of all I didn't unhook the negative on the battery so that could of been a problem but when i was connecting the positive to the amp it started to spark. idk maybe i might of rubbed against the ground since they are right next to each other. Well i took it off right away and didn't do anything else. Well i went to start my truck up and it won't start. when i turn the key everything happens like it normally does, the voltage goes up, my lights will turn on, it does everything normal but when i turn the key nothing happens.

What do you guys think it might be, thanks

There could be something up with your battery. The other day my battery was drained for some reason and everything in my car (all my electronics) was still working but my car wouldn't start, it went into this "immobilization mode." I had it towed to the Honda dealership and they replaced my battery since it was still on warranty. Once I got my new battery in, it started right up. I'd try swapping out your battery with another one and see if that is the problem.

The fuse box will either be under the dash, behind an access panel on the bottom of the dash, or in the engine bay on the firewall.

Check your fuses.

Does the starter make a sound at all?
