Its not legal because the government cant make money off of it. People will grow it in there backyard rather then going to a liquor store to buy it.
Californias Medical Marijuana laws are almost perfect and even though its got a long ways to go its on the right track.I think marijuana should be legal how it is in california, having dispensaries that sell the pot but you have to have a california ID to get in and obviously have to be 18+

the government makes more money from it with it illegal. Thats the only reason its taking so long to legalize it.

theres no way in hell they make more money off of it now (unless they at getting alot of cuts off the top) than they would if it was legal, understand that if its legalize they will make money off of EVERY sale instead of catching a few potheads a couple times a year and throwing hugh fines at them, then having to pay for all the court time(man hours, paper, jail accomodations ect.)

they would be getting rid of a hugh cost and gainin a hugh profit at the same time:greedy:

legalize it,tax it..IMO booze is a worse drug by far

Being drunk VS being stoned IMO stoned is in more control

i will agree with you there BUT (this coming from a former pot head so its not biased) SOME people CANT handle weed and SHOULDNT smoke it period .. but the other 90% of people out there NEED to smoke a joint every now and then !
