hahah i remember in my toyota pickup i got an amp from my dad (pioneer 2X50RMs) anyways i hooked them up to the tiny little 3" or 4" speakers in the dash lol it was loud!!! but just a little distorted... HAHAHA

that aint nothin compared 2 my 2 15" mtx terminators...the surround on 1 was dry rotted and "missing" in spots..the other was "ok"..powered by the infamous pyramid 900 watt amp...the gold series ...yup..the best...guess what i used to wire it up with...yup u guessed right..a 80 dollar stinger amp kit..the wires cost more then the hole setup.($40)although im still using the rca's, 4 yrs later.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

Hey man, don't worry about what some people say. I started out with dual 10" Jensens in a bandpass box powered by a 80w RMS Jensen amp. That cost me like $67 total...then I got a new amp 2 more 10s, and then another amp and some different 10s and...

hey phrozen5100, do u buy chance get ur system out a JCwhittney catalog? my .02 on the matter, get away from pyle, legacy and pyramid . my friends "1600" legacy amp, runs at something like 400w actually. they arent worth the money, and thats hard to believe. oh yea one more thing, STAY AWAY FROM THUMPS!!!! as well as sony, jensen, and any other system u can aquire are walmart,sears, or pawn shops.

i guess i'm still learning too, but i learned when i blew my first and only 12" pyle it would be my last. 13 years ago? good luck tho

the 2nd was a urban audio 12 in a cardboard / 1/2" plywood and duct tape box along with 4 or 5 screws...wow
