I think you're paying a little too much attention to the contrast between the cone and the magnet (maybe?). The cone is huge, if you had a 10, the sub would look beefy, would it not? That thing is probably going to blow your head off.

no probleme,i ll tell you my score i hope to hit a little 142-143db

it s true that i talk alot of the weight of the sub lol it s becauseonce time i have taken a HC 12" and waow it was very loud and the boy said me the the SX will be more louder than the HC(weight)

perhaps it s an impression

i put the volume of my amps at 3/4

the subsonic at 20hz

and 1 fuse off 100A on each amp

only few songs are very good,good bass but the most of my songs the bass is s**t

**** that sucks. I bet with some tuning and possible a modification to your box you will be able to get NICE sound and output from them.

I have 2 HC 15's and they are quite loud IMO. SX > HC AND 18 > 15 therefore you should OWN.

152db at 55hz there are +-7 db high between this audio controle and the new termlab it does a good 145db at the new termlab what do you think about it??

Sounds pretty lound for a daily driver to me, but well never hear it and it really doens't matter waht everyone thinks...

The question is, is it loud enough for you???

Something is wrong. You should be a LOT louder than that.(150+ on the new meter)

Did you make double check to make sure they're wired in correctly?

Did you gain match the amps?

Are you using only your deck as your source(ie. no linedriver), you may not be getting enough input into the amps(not sure what kind of input voltage they like)

yes for me it s loud but hte bass is not clear,i believe that i have a vibration in my box

i have verified the wiring of the subs and take the impedance,it s correct 1.1ohm at the 2 amps

the amps are not adjusted with the voltmetre(for the moment) there are at 3/4 of the full power with a fuse of 100A on each amp(one amp gives only 1000wrms)

i use a pld phoenix gold how give 8volt at the cinch and my radio give 4.5volt

try rolling down your window(s), turning on your a/c, and check your connections on the alt, batt, ground, and amp.

Hey, is that your linedriver in that center of the amprack in the last pic? It looks like it has a Phoenix Gold Logo on it? I thought those were supposed to go up front right after the head unit for best use?

I don't ask to nitpick, I'm planning on running a linedriver as well and I would be easier to have it in the rear, but fron everything I read, its supposed to go in front...
