don't really want to get into it right now, but i need something to replace it. i'm in college and my car is at home, so i will be going home to replace it sometime before thanksgiving or christmas.

i don't have a lot of money to spend. i'd like to keep sub/amp combo under $500, and speaker amp under $75. (probably an older 2-channel speaker amp)

i'm thinking either 2 10"s or 1 15" like i had before. i'd prefer them to handle ~800 watts total. (so i need an 800 watt amp as well) i'll probably build a sealed box, just to save time.

suggestions? i'm liking the new Fi stuff. what should i take a look at?

actually i think my car has an alarm on it, but its turned off/disabled/doesn't work... i'll see about getting it activated or updated.

i'm liking the FI Q/SSD with a Hifonics bx1500D idea! maybe 60 watts per speaker too.
