yea what i'm worried about is that i read that once you set that up, you cant really change the EQ with the stock, only control you have is the sub outputmy friend was telling me about the 3 sixty. u would like it. i want one please.
oh those, i was looking at those before, only i could only find it for $20 + shipping, then one day i went to wallmart and found it there for $17 brand new //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifLol, im sorry the Loc, here http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298669
looks nice but i kinda dont want to change the head unit
yea thats what i'm afraid of, if i get one of these things it would be the 3sixty, still a little concerned about the quality thocleansweep fuckin blows....had a customer with one already installed in an 05 Lexus LS430...said it sounded like *** from the jump so we swapped it out for the Alpine PXE-h650 and MY GOD! the difference was undeniable even before the imprint
While its kind of a pain to get the radio out and put a new deck in its not that bad. If it was a benz or bmw with i-drive than yes I would suggest a higher end piece but for the Honda if you dont want to replace the radio just get a quality loc. When I used it, I only tapped my fronts to give me a pair of RCAs, I didnt need the other set because my amps had preamp outputs.
But, I would only suggest the loc if its a issue to replace your stock HU. I know in the newer Hondas, like alot of new cars the radio is intergraded into the climate controls. That price is obo, I can do less than that if your interested...
if i want the replace the stock head, i would have to buy a new piece of the car, and it can be done, i just dont really want to get a new head because i want to keep it a stock look, because of thiefs around here, walking around looking into peoples cars, you know what i meanWhen I used it, I only tapped my fronts to give me a pair of RCAs, I didnt need the other set because my amps had preamp outputs.

true, trueJust get a loc. The sound quality will be good enough for the majority of people and if it wasnt they would switch the headunit. You can get the 360 or the audiocontrol piece or the jl piece or whatever but the weak link in your system will still be your deck so imo its kinda of a waste.
what would you say is a good quality loc? While its kind of a pain to get the radio out and put a new deck in its not that bad. If it was a benz or bmw with i-drive than yes I would suggest a higher end piece but for the Honda if you dont want to replace the radio just get a quality loc.
i want to keep away from a new deckjust put in a new deck it will look good with a kit and wire harness.
Pretty much all the devices mentioned will go in the trunk anyway... you can do an AudioControl solution with the DDC extension or whatever... but honestly, how often are you really going to screw with it while you're driving? I'm considering getting one myself (3Sixty.2), but I think I'm going to wait and just install everything and see how it sounds first.yea what i'm worried about is that i read that once you set that up, you cant really change the EQ with the stock, only control you have is the sub outputunless you have a palm or something, i would do the setup with my laptop, but i wouldnt always have it with me
