My stereo shop had a kickass idea...

So i was going to run the 4 12" CVR's i have in a box in the bed and cut cab my extended cab sierra but after having time to think about it, in order to resale the truck i dont want to cut a hole in the wall then try to sell it so i wanted another way, to take out the back seat and put in a box to fit all four would be stupid also because then whats the point of having a truck if you can't fit anybody in it...so he came up with the kickass idea, i'm going to find two front seats (identical to the ones in my sierra now) and replace the rear bench seat with two front bucket seats...then my stereo guy is going to build a custom box to fit a 12 under each seat and have a console between the two seats that hold the other two 12's. the amp is going to mounted on the rear wall with a floating amp rack. what do you guys think? sound like a good idea or what cuz my stereo guy is stoked and i know he can get the job done right...also when i try to sell the truck i can take out the subs, boxes, and seats and put back in the bench seat that was there before...any feedback a + thanks...

Buckets are EXPENSIVE and nobody wants to get rid of them. I just picked some up but they were PRICEY. Truck buckets run about 300-1000 (used and new) and the brackets in the extended cabs are alot different than up front. I dont know how its going to be possible to fit a sub under each seat. The center console is the way to do it.

I dont wanna cram all 4 into one console tho and i wanna still be able to get at least 4 people in the truck still so yeah...i think if i angle the subs I should be able to fit them under the seats...

You're stupid to try and reasonabley fit four 12's in a truck without getting rid of your back seat.

I would do the blow-through idea, just save the pieces that you cut away and when you do decide to sell it you can always weld them back up (sounds like you have the 'shop' do all your work though, pussy.)

I can say that when it comes to the audio portion of it i have a 'shop' do all of it but when it comes to cutting the cab and bed and welding and installing the new seats, i do anything like that cuz im the only one that touches my truck...i just dont handle the audio portion of it...
