My Sony head unit is Frozen (doesnt work)

I have a Sony cdx-m800 head unit for awhile in my car and acouple of months ago the left side of the Unit didnt work, and now the whole head unit doesnt work, it only works if i use the remote. It's like if the head unit is Frozen. Does this mean i need a new one?

I know it's not the best head unit but i didnt think this kind of stuff would happen
