My setup won a friend some money, and me a pint :)

Just thought Id share.

I was out at my shinny baseball game just before sundown and as the game was over, there was a couple home boy mexicanos in the parking lot parked beside our cars. We park in the back corner of this huge lot for a reason, we have a clear view of our cars during the game, and so homies like this arent stealin our stuff.

So anyways one of them in a civic was bumpin, sitting in his drivers seat, with his buddy sitting on his hood smoking. My buddy kinda got into convo with him and as soon as he said it sounded decent and asked what he had in there. This guy starts a whole big deal about how this ricer has the baddest beats in town and how dim his lights go when it pounds (yes he was bragging about voltage drop lol)

So Im overhearing all this while throwin my gear in my Qx4 and taking off my cleats. By the time I got back over there, my buddy was sitting in the passenger seat and they were banging some lil jon, I peeked and seen 2 cvr's front firing into the cabin, sealed.... sounded decent though

Anyways, 2 minutes of that, kid turns it off and his buddy is just all over his buddies nuts braggin about the system (the owner never said a freaking word lol, he may have been a mute) said they were 15's, and that he had the loudest shit in town. Well my friends a loudmouth, and says to the mexicano "I'll bet you $20 you cant sit in that Qx4 for a full song"

Fvcking mexicano pulls up his demins, big smile, "Ill take you up on that offer holmes" (kid still has no idea what kinda system i have)

We go over to my car, its limo tinted all around so he doesnt see that hes getting into a car with a wall. I turned on my interior lights and I think the kid busted a nut. Anyways, after some silly non literate small talk, I throw on, danity kane, show stopper. Kid makes it through the first course with his hand on his chest and his mouth open, then bam, soon as the constant bass kicks in @ 55ish seconds, mofvcka reached for that door handle so freakin fast lol.

My buddy was dying laughing. I gave him the run down of what it was, the sheer size of the box seemed to impress him the most. And, unlike most mexicanos, held up his end of the bargain and gave my bud a $20 (canadian, so like .83 cents to you guys)

We then went to the bar and my bud bought a pitcher of Keiths, and the first frosty pint was mine. The best beer, is free beer. Thank you AQ

The funny part is that my buddies single 12" R ported probly was just as loud as this "baddest in town" setup

I never did find out what kinda amp he was runnin, the owner literally didnt say a single word to anyone.

Well Im not from that town anyways ( I play 2 towns over ) so i actually wasnt worried about showing my setup. I even used security screws for all of my subs / amps mounting, and put a piece of tape over every single one, so nobody can sneak a peek at what kinda tool they gotta bring lol (mind you I used 3 different types of screws)

And thanks for the compliment, dont have any numbers though, just redid the wall last week or so, bangs pretty decent though for only 2500ish rms
