My rear View mirror Keeps falling off anyone know a good glue for it ??

some one was telling me to take it to a professional to get it put on but i really don't wanna spend $35 to get it professionally install for such a stupid thing. and besides that it probably would fall of anyway.

well my rear view mirror button is metal so im hoping it will work but the glass this is what im worried about not a whole lot a glues stick real good too it
Oh trueee. Well give it a try dude, I've used it to bond some pretty crazy shit together. Rubber, plastic, metal, etc it works good, not sure bout glass though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

me either kinda hoping it will work if i find something that will make it stick good i will post it in this thread.

super glue atleast held it for like 3 days i thought it was all good till i turned on jeezy grey goose ft allstar and within like 30 secs of the song my mirror deside it want to take a nose dive

yeah i scrape all the excess glue off the button and the mirror reclean the windshield with glass clean let it dry for about 10 minutes then put the glue on the button attach it to the windshield and then i even tape it on there after about 3 minutes of hold it to the windshield then come back in the next day after work and put the mirror back on it tighten the screw down on it turn on my music and bam the dam thing falls off again:verymad:

u can't weld a mirror to glass it would break my windshield. unless your talking about jb weld and i have used that on other things and its not as good as they say it is
its possible. build a medal bracket coming out of your roof an angle it to come down and shit....

yeah then i could weld it to the roof of the car and it would hold that way for sure but i don't have a welder so kinda ruling that one out. if i had the materials i definitely would do it

Honestly I'd have to give a big 'x2' to leaving it off. You can still watch behind you pretty darn well with your side mirrors, if youre loud as it is...you shouldnt be able to see the cop in your rear view if it were there...it'd be shaking/moving a good bit and wont be able to see him through that. At first it was a little different for me, but after a while I noticed I didnt really ever need a rear view mirror, you get by just fine without it.
