My RE (new) XXX Experience **Pics**

I wake up at 3:30 am this morning to go to hell (work). I'm drinking my coffee and I look up on my computer and Holey Jeezus it's the subwoofer on steroids.

Very nice sub dude. I'm sure I'll be hearing it over here in Texas when you wang that massive beast. Congrats... ROCK ON !!!!!

that's exactly what I'll be doing. Here is a mockup of my box...

The sub will be inverse mounted so I can take a look at that big ***. The box is 3.5 cu ft. tuned to 36 Hz with about 50" of port area. Should look sick when I'm all done.

If anyone wants to request a specific photo, let me know and I would be more than happy to snap a pic.

no, the port actually does something like this...

the guys at Superior Sound recommended 3.5ish to increase SPL.

Updates with videos and pics shortly.

Just to give you guys an idea, I had to cut out a new hole in my box to fit the new XXX. The diameter of the basket on the new XXX = where the screw holes were on the old XXX.

Those box scetches don't make sence. Is the sub firing in to the port???

Looks great. Way too much sub for me, but in your SUV I bet it's going to be some loud *** sq. Tell us how it compares to the old XXX's.

15"s are 3 weeks - a month. I dunno about the 18"s.
