EDIT: I know the MT is spl oriented, I'm talking of the new woofs. I could of sworn I heard the MX had the ability to get louder than the xxx. I don't mean SPL like a fart machine either.

the MX is not louder than the new XXX. I talked to the RE guy and he explained it to me. It's a compromise between the SX and the new XXX. The MX is actually more comparable to the old XXX, except for the fact that it has lower xmas (22mm compared to 32 of old XXX).
