any comments would be appreciated, positive or otherwise.

cool, can't wait to hear it....it DOES look like one sub has a bent basket...it might be might drunk left eye though!
i think it must be you being drunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gif

hows the sound? bet it gets LOW
Nice simple IB setup.
How's it sound?
well unfortunately i wasnt able to let it rip because i just got finished at about 11:00.

and i hope it gets LOw because that is why i added the second one.

the single one had enough output for me but the LOWs (20 hz) just werent there like i wanted them.

hopefully they will be now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

you are going to want about 500w PER sub in that setup. and make sure that baffle is solid as hell. looks like its gonna flex alot.

i wish youd of found a new way to get your wire through there though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

the stock wire harness has to get to the tail lights somehow. also sucks your plastic trim panels are all cracked up. try lookin in a junkyard for new ones? or possibly taking the broken ones off and carpeting the metal?

well when i had the single one running with 250 watts i could make it tap on the back plate so i think i should be ok with the power i will get from my new amps (300 ish per sub)

and the baffle is 1.5" thick and mounted pretty solidly so i should be okay.

in my last setup when the sub was wanging the sub would move about 1/4" or more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but i should be okay this time.

i am going to steal one of the ideas you had and make a frame/board covered in grill cloth that will hide everything so i am not worried about it that much.

yeah that sucks, they were like that when i got the car though.

i cant remove them because they stick out beside the seat if that makes any sense.

i might cut them back alot and carpet it for better looks.

there is still quite a bit to be done install wise i just wanted to get it in.

well my impressions so far have been rather unimpressive.

but that is with them recieving maybe 75 watts each.

i am trying to get ahold of either a pair or viper 5 channel amps or a PPI DCX 1000.4

if i get the ppi which i really want because it is a sexy amp with plenty of power.

i will have to go back to passive because i will need ch3-4 for my subs

but with 125 watts per side and 500 for the subs it should do the job very nicely.

if i cant get that one and end up going with the less sexy vipers

i will have 100x4@4 for frontstage and 100x4@2 for the subs (100 per coil/200 per sub)

i would rather have the PPI because it is a much nicer amp than the vipers i am looking at and looks a hell of alot better too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

but this is all dependant on wether or not paypal decides to **** me for about 2 grand.

those *****s.......**** paypal
