So far i just ordered, Rick has been the greatest help. I messed up twice, first order i just ordered 2 rolls of BXT, i recieved his message after saying i should order some cans of glue, he explained why. Before i read that he said, "hell well toss in a can its on us". i ordered 3 more for my second order. then he messaged me again verifing it, he replaced 2 cans with 3 yards of ensolite.

I get my packages on 6th and 7th, i will install them on the weekend and post back.

Anybody else who has installed Raamat, post your experiences and tips that will make the install better.

Have a box of rubber gloves available (if not, you will have that tar like substance all over your hands), sharp razor knife w/ extra blades and use small pcs whenever possible (will make it much easier to apply).

a roller and some goo gone stuff in case you need to clean.

Do NOT use Goo Gone or any other citrus oil based cleaner. It will leave a residue that won't allow the Raammat to adhere well. Use acetone and do it right.

Rick is a great guy to deal with and his products are solid. Until about 8 months ago he lived 2 miles away from my house. I learned more in the 6 hours he helped me with my setup then all the time perusing forums and audio shops. Truly a great guy to deal with and very, very helpful.

excuss to bump . got the packages in, waiting on some more stuff to come in so ill be doin everythin on the 17th and 18th

bump for extra tips for installing sound deadening.

a main concern of mine is to reduce the noise getting in the cabin.

are there areas that are fine how they are and need only deadening to prevent flexing?

Are you second skins *****? Do they tell you to go around opening your **** massager spewing fourth shit that has nothing to do with the topic, and then you get your scoobie snack and some anal penetration for your efforts?

deadened my doors and trunk so far, ill post pics of my trunk later. i have 1 more roll im going to do my floors.

raamat sticked really good, my car has experienced pretty hot maimi sun and it hasnt moved at all.

i really like the ensolite, i wraped all my trunk and door wires with it. so they dont rattle, then sprayed that adhesive so it sticks to the door. and elsolite over it.

i can hear a huge difference in road noise through the doors and trunk. cant wait to do the floors.

oh and i got hit by an army truck today ... yea i know

if you look at the 2 hooks on the grill, look at the driver side one... theres all my paint.

yea i got random luck i seriously think there signs from god, i really like the crystals they sound nice, the tweets arnt loud enough for me so ima buy another pair of there titanium tweets and hook it up to my indashes front speaker wires and put them somewhere in the center console

Do NOT use Goo Gone or any other citrus oil based cleaner. It will leave a residue that won't allow the Raammat to adhere well. Use acetone and do it right.
residue as in oil residue?

i removed all that gunk peel and seal left on the doors of my accord with goo gone(sp?) and applied the bxt. all i can say is that the deadener adheres to my door really well and it's been through a hot *** summer. just giving you my side of goo gone but i didnt know about the stuff left behind.
