actually, those eclipse subs sound pretty good. give them anything more then 150rms and you have a problem.

The enclosure, like any "one size fits all" setups, fits none. But it fits them all equally bad. Any bandpass that isn't built for the specific sub placed in it will sound like utter butt.

Better choice, these are ampless subs.

you can run speakers (components or coaxial) off your deck but most people amp them to get the most out of them but YOU NEED TO AMP YOUR SUBS

no other way around it, you cant hook them up to your deck without a amp

people usually like to use components because you can put the tweet in a place where they wont get blocked usually by your legs because in many cars, if you put your speakers in the front stock location, its usually down in the front doors which is usually blocked by your legs, so the highs will sound distant
