My Polk Db212-2 subs

these are my sub woofers, the Polk db212-2. they are rated at 720 rms (360 each sub). They are in a decent sized ported box from Polk. http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/products/db212/ - thats a link to my subs. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they are a good product. they sound pretty good to me except there is an obnoxious rattle every time they are up even just a little.

They may be blown. Check the VCs impendance with a DMM.

they are not blown for when i open the trunk it stops like 50% or more of the sound and when in next to the subs they sound fine. also when trunks open there is less vibrations becuase teh trunk lid pinches them to teh trunk floor.
