A little tip for using manual shooting. If you half-way push the shutter button (don't click it all the way) the exposure menu will have a bar to tell you if you're too high or too low on exposure. Then you can adjust exposure or shutter speed to bring it toward the middle.

Just try it and you'll see what I"m talking about. It's kinda hard to explain.

Forget about buying a lens, if you plan on shooting at night(outside) get a flash first, that little popup flash is horrible. There was a huge difference in the way my pictures came out after buying a flash. The XTi is a great camera, it has never failed me.

I was doing the photos for the Sonu Nigam concert on Sunday, i know jpg sucks but thats what they wanted it shot in.

these 2 were shot in RAW but i converted it to jpeg just now so i could upload to PB
