got my 1/0 from knu and couple connectors that are about to be soldered together for my power and grounds and big 3

going to be in the market for a new amp now...that either does 3000watts(minimum) @ .5ohm or 2ohm... so let me know whats in the 500-600 market

also going to be making a new build log soon for the install of both these guys in my tC hopefully all will be done before the 3 shows next month!

good luck on the build bro... set up a build log so we can follow.

as far as the amp goes.. for 500-600, you have quite a few options open to you. check out hifonics brz's, AQ 3500D.1, and if you look hard enough, you might be able to snatch a RF 2500.1, or a kicker 2500.1... if you want to put out a lil bit of extra coin (say what you want about fosgate and kicker, but their high end amps put out some NICE clean power, and their usually underrated!)

well hopefully im still down here, as of right now im here for at least 3 weeks more. but its really difficult working on my truck in a hotel parking lot with no tools, lol. and trying to find part local is even hard as i hate gettin stuff shipped here. did you get you terminals offline or local??

eh.. 3500 pretty much already running half that to one sub at the moment so thats not to big of a leap and pretty much what i was plannin with 2 brutus 1700s.. 4500.. i dont think i wanna do that..not worth blowing my subs.

those subs can take 2500 all day long. Why do you think people like them more than the new ones, they can take a lot more abuse. They are rated at 1600 so giving them 1700 a piece is good too. But 4500 on the pair isn't too much at all. You don't need 4500 i was just saying

sundown 3k...had one on 2 12's at .5ohm and they slammed. I would not give them any more than 2k a piece....2.5k is definately pushing it. They're not spl subs by any means but they sound great and get loud

You can get Sundown 3K for around 500 used all day long and I can vouch for them at .5 ohm if you have a couple spare batteries on it. Also look into the Crescendo (not sure if their new line will do .5 ohm though? I know they're not warrantied at that, but I don't think anything is)

yeah the new crescendo 3.5k would be another great choice...or their old model 3k, same exact thing as the sundown

what kind of audible difference would you notice in a sub getting 1600 if u switch to 2000watts?
