Big 3/Battery/Alt shopping?

I'm looking into upgrading my electrical system in the somewhat near future. I was just doing some research on batteries, and I noticed for my 06 camry I almost ALWAYS have the option of buying an Optima Battery (when looking for a deep cycle one), is there something better I should be looking into? Also, I keep getting told to start with the big 3, where would I shop for some big 3 upgrades?

I also would like to know where to shop for a good alternator.

Ok seriously yesterday another Guy asked about Alta in the general discussion area. There is a huge big 3 thread and in the classifieds batteries are sold for 125 shipped. All the answers are right in front of you if you look

lol, i'm really sorry, I looked a little on other sites but now that you mention it I haven't looked at this site. I can just never find a good place to shop for these.

try to buy a used alt in the classifieds. you will get muchh cheaper than new
