Okay i have finally got myself to spend some moldy money. I have purchased a Hifonics BXi 2006D amp and Two 12 in alpine type R (SWR-1242D) Dual 4ohm models. I spent a total of $592.47. Did i do good or not? and just to make sure these are compatible right? Lol stupid ques. but i want to make sure. Now all i need is a box and it installed. How much should i expect to pay for a box and installation at my local audio shop? Im worried they're going to rip me off but i dont trust any of my friends.

I would like to build my own and install it but i wouldnt know where to begin. I know nothing....im a noob....and i admit it. Im not willing to decrease my performance to save a few bucks. Unless its easyily learned then i would try but still, probably fail. Do you have instructions on how i would go about learning all this?

I purchased it all on ebay. And yes it was $592 Shipped to my front door. Im excited...My first system....now i got to find out how to build my box and install it....Any suggestions?

If they do it right, expect from 200-250 for just the box

Install shouldnt be any more than 50-60 bucks for installing the amp and subs

thats only the lower end of the system, where the rest of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. as for building your box, its really easy. lets face it, 50% of the people on these forums knew nothing before coming here, including myself. if you research for a few hours, you can save yourself looooots of money.
