Do you have any tested, reproducible evidence to support this claim? Have you run RTAs in multiple vehicles, each with multiple configurations, and surveyed the opinions of people who have heard these setups to form actual data on what is acceptable and/or pleasant to the average person? Or, are you just spewing b.s.that you can't backup, AGAIN?

Unauthorized, fake, whatever you want to call them. Yes, the first place I heard about PHD speakers was here on the Internet and someone was hawking some over-chrome plated speakers calling them PHDs off Ebay I think, and then when I went to the PHD website and saw pics on there of real onces, I knew the pretty chrome plated things offered on Ebay were FAKES!
There are issues with fakes everywhere, this is lassies faire capitalism at it's worst!

Hate to spoil this but you cant judge if its real by the chrome-ness of it. As a matter of fact my Lanzar subwoofer has a cone almost identical to your phd's. The only differance is the dustcap. So maybe your phd's are cheap lanzar copies?

I never mind CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. But I can easily tell that from DESTRUCTIVE criticism. Plus so many tell me what I SHOULD do, Ignoring the times I've said I want to keep everything as stock looking as possible. I read that stuff, but it's not the constructive part I react to, it's the destructive part. So in that I'm as bad as the purveyors of the crap they lay on me.

It does seem to serve to entertain papermaker so that's good!
