My new home system, the neighbor aggravator!

Now Ive just realized Im going to need new mids and highs. Should I stay with car audio? Or should I keep in home audio? These will be powered by my receiver (130 wrmsx4 @8 ohms). If I was to stay with car audio I think I would go with 2 decent sets of components. I would wire each pair (assuming they were 4 ohm) to an 8 ohm load on the receiver.

Can you guys recommend some good speakers or component sets?

I will be putting these in a car with the subs BTW.

EDIT: I was thinking two pairs of these.

Also MAX budget is 300 but Id like to keep it around 200-250.

I have never actually had a speaker mess up my TV....

Older more sensitive CRT TVs you would have this problem.

The only place I would worry about having a shielded speaker is the center channel, because many people put them right on top of their CRT TV's...

The big problem with car audio tweeters is the mounting. They usually do not come with flush mounting kits like you need with a home audio setup.

So there is no real problem with having a car audio component set in your house (after correct wiring and such)?

The link works fine for me............ So Im not sure what to do with it.

The comp set in the link is for a pair of Kicker Components.

Heres another link.

Specs just in case the link doesnt work for you.

2-way component speakers

Size: 6 1/2

Sensitivity: 88 dB

Frequency Response: 35-21,000 Hz

Recommended RMS Power: 75W

Peak Power Handling: 150W

1" removeable tweeters

Impedance: 4 ohms

So now Ive changed my mind again and have now decided to go with two FI BL 18s, comments? Would this be good for daily. I am getting the full cooling option only. I plan to use one channel of my amp and give each sub approx. 1450 watts rms. Would this setup work?

only if your amp is 4 ohm stable. i know alot of recievers are only stable down to 6 ohms, 4 ohm stable for the center channel
