only thing i will say is that sub up port forward in my friends ranger was SHITTYYYY!!!!

soooo disappointing in output. and then when you open the door, it was easily twice as loud if not more.

then we put it in his explorer and i swear i didnt think it was the same sub. much louder. so all in all i suggest listening to the truck guys on what works best for them.

we tried windows down and it was the same. but as soon as the door opened 3-4" it was like WTF?! yea weird shit. he ended up selling the truck before we tried something else. kinda disappointing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Interesting idea on the direct wiring vs terminals. Assume you'll put some silicone around the holes so it doesn't leak.

I hate it when amps are mounted on the box. The amp on top is ok but the sundown slapped in front made it look off. Why didn't you just mount the amp next to the box underneath the port?
