my new amp

I know its not the greatest of all time but it says it is 1 ohm stable. Should i try to run my subs at 1 ohm or keep them at 4 ohms? I don't want to blow anything.

its a kenwood rated at 500 rms at 4 ohms.

What model? 9104d?

If so, they say it will run @ 1 ohm mono. Don't try it if it is a 9103d or 9102d. I have a 9102d that has been running at 2ohm mono (800+ watts) on a single 15" RF T1 for about 2 years without a problem.

Do you have the subs already? If not, I would recommend getting some that you can wire up to a 2ohm load. A lot less stress on the amp, and you will still get 900watts.
