It is lol, but Gary is so close to the NW corner of Indiana, you can pretty much see Chicago. I used to live in Chesterton, and it's like an hour or so to Chicago's Midway Airport.

Also I wish my mom was this cool! She hated my car audio passion from back in the day. I remember her taking my car keys because I refused to take the bump out of my car. Granted I was 15 then, haha! Yep, she let me drive my car I had saved up for when I was 15, no DL or permit.
