Im not really into all out booming anymore. Will this sub sound good and go low sealed??? Or should I just leave things as is?

leave it, you'll lose low output imo.

go sealed, do a nice size sealed box and u'll be happy if u'r not into booming.

OK......got two opinions. Anyone else?

PS. Im not into all out booming anymore. My slotported box is purty big also. 2.25cu. ft. I can go 1.25cu ft. sealed and save some trunk space.

I Say Stay Ported But Tune Really Low Like 25-30hz

Build a sealed box and see how you like it. You'll lose a bit of the low end SPL, but if thats not what you want then you prolly wont miss it.
