My ID interiors distort like **** at volume 35...help

Ok I have a sax 100.4 and ID ctx65 in the front doors and revs in the rears. Everything on the amp is turned all the way down and I still get terrible distortion. What the heck can I do. I have a pioneer 8800....could someone tell me what I can do or help me tune. I can't turn the gain up without it sounding like ***.

What are your levels set at on the headunit?

even if I turn my eq to flat it still does it.

loud is off, and bmx and comp is off

slant is on 4, and I think my bbl is at 2

I'm still learning how to use this headunit

it seriously sound like something is broke on my mounts...it sound like crap, and the tweets are not smooth...I plan on hookin up my ctx6 comps tonight too, just tryin to figure this one out first

how do I do that? subs sound fine. I used the factory ground in the harness. Power stays on great

run a new ground..dont use the factory one if you can help it.

Rca grounds could be screwed on that pioneer as well. They are known to do that but not distort out like this. Its something to check into as well.

I'm goin to try a new ground, a buddy will be here soon and we will try his deck too.

First I will try my PPI pc4400 and see if it has the problem too. Dang this is gay. Just talked to a sundown rep and he said try the same things you guys said.

A plus is tho, that my hdc3's sound badass

It still could be an issue but it doesnt sound like it. PM vitveet about the grounding issue, he knows alot more than i do about it. Maybe he could give you some more info on your problem as well.

I have my eq set the same way I do for all my setups.

Right now on the amp it has the settings all the way down for everything.

I'm goin to try a diff 4 channel first, and then I will try a new ground and deck

plug your friends RCAs into your amp. if that fixes it then its your rca or HU.

Ok I put the ppi in there an it sounds much better, but it still distorts. The revs actually sound better than the ID's I think...much crisper. **** don't know what to do.
