My HU went out

my car cd player went out one day while listening and I changed the fuses in my cd player (which was already brand new) and the fuses for the accessory panel too. So basically all the fuses are replaced. I also checked my cd player in my friends car to see if it works and it does. I'm guessing maybe the car wires burned out or something but it is obvious that it has to do with the connection between the battery and the cd player. Any suggestions?

check for fuses like these to be bad:

cig. lighter

courtesy light

interior light

backup

radio

check both the fuses inside the car and the ones under the hood in the engine compartment as well.
