My Goat

Well I haven't posted here in awhile. I've kinda gotten out of car audio and into performance with my GTO.

After totaling my Camaro I picked up a new 2005 GTO. I didn't mess around with the car seeing as how I parted out the Camaro and sold everything from it to make the goat fast. So far I have done custom cam, PRC dual valve springs, Comp Cams pushrods, FAST 90mm intake manifold, Stainless Works coated headers, no cats, Magnaflow cat back, Volant cold air intake, Yank SS converter, B&M ****** cooler, dyno tune, BMR drag bags, Hotchkis sway bars, 18" TSW Thruxtons wheels, 245/275 BFG KDW2's and 6000k HID's.

This week I'm swapping out the rear 275 KDW2's out for BFG drag radials. Then hopefully HP Tuners will get us the new software and cables so we can dial in the tune better (not a very good tune right now). I may do a system in the car, but I hate to weigh it down any.

So far the car has ran a 12.2 @ 113 with a 1.9 60'. I'm hoping switching from Nitto 555R's to BFG DR's will cut my 60' down to 1.7's. Plus we just added the FAST last night so that should up my trap 2-3MPH. If it goes as planned I'll be running some 11.8's at the track this weekend.

Here are some pics...

Thanks for all the nice comments. It's taken a lot of work, time, selling and money to get the car to where is is now. My goal is to be the first cam and bolt on only 11 second GTO... I'm close, but there are others closer.

The cam is a secret and I promised my buds I wouldn't tell. It took them months designing this monster of a cam that is daily driver friendly.

The conver stall is a 3600. It took alot of getting use to, now it feels normal to me. It does **** up the gas in town though, **** gas prices are not helping either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
