a box with all 3 will be a very shitty idea IMO

i highly agree with this. pick one brand and stick with it. by combining different brands of subs (or different models by the same manufacturer), you are probably running into noise cancellation and are putting strain on your amp. building a big box is fine, but pick only one brand and model of subs.

ok, many false statements here.. First, you can run all 3 subs, and it MAY be louder. No, it doesnt matter if they are square, round or triangles. Brand doesnt matter either. The problem is, each sub is going to produce one note VERY good, and the others may produce a different note well. That said, do a little research, build a box for the Kicker, it will cost you $30 in MDF and a little time. If you buy a prefab box, it may sound like a good deal, but in the end, you can out perform almost any prefab "ported" box with one built to spec by a noticeable margin.

I noticed that the Visoniks pick up the lower bass better than the Kicker does, but the Kicker is deff. louder. Are you saying that I should just sell the Visoniks and the amp and upgrade to a better amp for the kicker? I plan on building a box for the Kicker now once it gets warmer outside. Thanks!

OP, what type of wire are you running?

It came with the combo, I'm not sure what kind it is, it doesn't tell you on the website. Here's a picture though.

I'm not doubting you, but isn't 8 gauge only up to 400 watts? The Visoniks that it came with are 800 watts.
