My FIRST TL score

Yup, play around with tones on the meter, and find what you peak at, and then go grab a song that peaks around the same

And although put on isn't a great bassrace song, it'll probably be ok to use to see around what frequency you peak at, considering it has the step downs.

but check out the batt, amp, and everything, all the wires are short, it would take a while lol, not that i mind, but my old setup was facing towards the cabin, and i think this way gets louder
it'll only be louder facing in if the cab is sealed off.

if you don't seal it off, don't bother.

MY first ever TL score was a 138.8 and I had 4 12" Kicker XPL's and a ZR600 amp... God I miss that system... Just keep trying and changing things around. Not everyone can drop a ton of money into there system to get 150 db overnite....
Yes they can //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i do have a few sweep songs, and i've listened to them plenty of times. i just dont know what frequency the tones are in. i didnt make the CD, and have no other way of getting metered again till end of march

its going to cost $350 to seal off my trunk 100%. Do you think i should just sell my 2 subs, and buy 2 better subs? Or anyone have any other ideas? ohh, also my amp isnt putting out all of its power, if i were to take a guess, i think i remember it being close to 3/4 of the way up.

it should cost about 20 bux to seal ur trunk the ghetto way and it could still look good.... if ur gonna do it,do it rite. personally i wouldnt seal it off unless i had like 3kw and two 12's and a MUCH better box.... hell the box i designed for my friends 12's that we are puttin in his 4 door accord is like 4.4 cubes tuned around 40 with like 120 sq. inches of port, that is a box worth sealing off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

how would you define the "ghetto" way... explain!

you could always use more fur to seal off your trunk....I like how you got your name in the back too....that way you never forget your name!!

Metering, and finding out where you stand is a great step in the right direction.

Trust me, no matter how bad you do, there's people out there (probably even on this forum) who are going to talk shit, who think they're louder than you, but have never metered.

It's like the guys on tuning forums, who talk about the HP their cars produce, and it's completely based on the claims of the tuning companies they buy their parts from.

There's so many variables involved in any of these high-end niche industries, that there's no such thing as plug-and-play. Something as silly as a loose ground, or incorrect phasing can take huge chunks out of your score.
