Why did you drill the hole right in the front of the box with the wires coming out? It would have looked much better you did it behind the box.

we took the subs out, and accidentally put them back in the wrong way. the hole is actually in the back. the hole isnt sealed because ill be taking those wires out and putting bigger/better ones in whenever they get shipped to me.

why doesn't anyone carpet sub boxes anymore? 10 bucks of carpet and a can of spray adhesive will make that much less ghetto

Some people are only intertested in SPL,

some people know the box will only be in for a few days before they build a new one,

some people just wanna leave something obvious for you to nit pick at so you don't look for real flaws...

I usually dont carpet mine bc I change setups so often

i think the raw mdf look is kind of cool in a suv with tan interior. i remember this guy who removed the rear seat out of a exlporer sport trac and put a box with a port you could slide a old school "tower" pc through for 4 power hx2 12 that looked cool buts it hard to complain about anything with such a loud street car. i personally just paint all my boxes black (sometimes gloss sometime flat) the box i got now (not the one in sig) is painted flat black but when i modify it into a a mdf/fiberglass composite it will be wrapped in faux suede.

bass doesnt have a "look" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif and unless you have subs that you show off all the time,or that you dont have in your trunk, who cares!

and besides, people wont steal your subs if they are in a "ghetto" box

While not completely accurate, that is semi true. If I was looking for a setup to steal, I'd look past the caulked MT enclosure and go straight for the carpeted bandpass with two Xplods.
