bump for this kid building his first box himself rather than paying someone to build one for him. this is what DIY car audio is all about!

whats some specs on the box, any other pics? looks great, just one thing i noticed though. a huge port right against the back hatch. not the greatest for airflow. generally the width of the port away from anything is ideal. but again its good for a first box!

yeah, right on. pretty dam good for a first timer. practice makes perfect, but still dam good. read a few of the forums on here before your next build. plenty of knowledge here

agreed,if nothing is permanently mounted down yet, slide that box forward maybe even a foot and listen to the difference

theres a few inches from the rear hatch..lit sounds ways better than the sealed box i had b4....im now try to make it lok better sand it down and then after all that carpet it....i think its like 2 cubes per sub..

its sounds freaking loud as hell...i thought the subs were loud in a undersized sealed box...but k no it hits super lows and doesnt do too bad on the highs..all in all this box came out way better than i thought it would...and i know it looks messy(i made a few mistakes on the way

Looks, great. I'm just getting the wrong impressing because the wood is very messy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif At first I thought the boox was just shit.

Anyway, good job!

eh it loks like u used 1/2" mdf:crap: id use 3/4 mdf. redo the box to 3.5 cubes net tuned to about 31hz and itll pwn. put a 1/2 double baffle on the top and bracing on each side. 2 cubes for 1 10 is to big IMO.
