I'm already on the final stages...

2 cubes @ 40hz (hopefully)... the port width from the rear of the box to the port wall is gonna be shorter than the port wall to the side of the box by 1/8" >_

One question I have though before I continue on... if the port bends 90 degrees after passing a corner of the box and then ends, would my end correction be .425 + .425 + .307, assuming 2 flanged ends and 1 free end, or should I just assume a total of .732?

looks great. I built my first box today... im bedlining it tomorrow tehn i'll post pics of the build.

How long does it take everyone to build their boxes? It took me a good 5 hours to cut the wood ( wouldve been about 2-3 if i wasnt so anal about my cuts being straight) then about 6 hours to put the box together.

it takes me just a few hours to cut the wood, so long as my all my measurements are triple-checked. Then it takes me days to finish putting the box together. I know some may laugh but hey, I take my time and check my progress as I go along. The end result then, I think, feels much more like an accomplishment.

Of course I just think it's because I'm still mediocre at it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Is there going to be another port wall? I'll post a picture of how to calculate end correction with one end being a wall.

That is how you measure the end correction. Measure down the middle like always, then add half the width of the port to the line length you have.

The left port has a length of 19.75" and the right port has a length of 16".

Ahh I see. Thanks man! I'm gonna start cutting the port and glueing it in.
