Ok well I am going to be installing my first audio system ever into my 94 Honda Accord. This is the equipment I bought (plan on adding speakers and satellite radio later on)

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6558_MA+Audio+M300XE.html (amp)

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8504_MA+Audio+MA112BX.html (sub)

Receiver

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3895_Kicker+PK8.html (kicker wiring kit)

I think I am pretty much set because the receiver came with the installation accessories for free.

I just have a question about installing the receiver (probably going to have a few more once I actually start the installation)

Will electrical tape be enough to connect the wires or would it be a lot better to solder them?

What do I need to connect to the receiver? obviously all 4 speakers but will I be able to to tell which goes in which socket and such?

Thanks in advance!

MAN you need to do some searching.... and FYI, I think all single DIN receivers come with installation kit and harness for most vehicles...
edit: from sonicelectronix.com that is...
Yeah it comes with the installation kit and harness. And I have done a lot of searching these were just two questions I could not really find a clear answer to.

Does anyone know of a good site that tells you how to connect a sub to your amp? And also what kind of wiring do you need to use to make this connection.

Use butt connectors and a crimp tool. Can be found at any auto parts store, HD, Menards, etc...
You can buy an amp install kit that will have everything you need.
I already bought an amp installation kit but it says it does not come with speaker wires. Thats why I was wondering what kind of wiring I needed to connect the amp to the sub.
