yeah bump or... GET THE **** OUT OF MY THREAD :)

So I was breaking it in a little more today and as I pull around the corner about 15ft from my house my car dies. I blew one of the "battery" maxi-fuses AGAIN... this is like the 3rd or 4th time This has happened... So anyways I pulled the headlight fuse and put it in place of the other and drove the 15ft and parked, looked back and SMOKE, LOTS of smoke coming from my trunk so of course i panic and automaticaly check my amp/sub/etc... and it is all good. Then I realize that is where all of my relays, fuses and computers are... So i have NO IDEA what smokied yet and a bunch of stuff on my car don't work. However, the windows are down, it runs/drives and my stereo still works so I can still make it to the comp. either way. I am of course going to try and fix whatever it is but if not IDK, that car sits in my garage 90% of the time anyways...

ok so i compete in MWSPL.... For basic trunk and extreme you can not remove your back seat. if it folds down you can have it folded down but it must still be functional. local 1 class it dont matter cause its not a national class. Also as for doing a 145 on 1k out of your trunk.... id have to see that.... not saying its not possible but doubtful. jumping from a 43 to a 45 takes alot of work if your not making a huge jump in power. anymore questions pm me..

k_schutte was going to be there but stuff came up and wont make it now...

as far as basic classes go... no modifications can be done to the rear deck and that includes the cardboard... i also asked this question last year when they were thinking about the trunk class...

also the rear seat must function... if it folds down then you can fold it down as long as you can close it.... you cant unhook the rear seat and lay it down... it has to function.

Trunk vehicles may cut & port through the rear deck as long as part of the original deck remains in place. In other words, a competitor may not remove the rear deck making it a ‘hatchback’.

Exception: Basic Trunk Division is not allowed to cut anything. The only modification is the removal of the back of the rear seat. See Instructions Per Division 8-13.

sounds like you can remove it for extreme... Either way, I am not going to remove anything... I just got back form a quick test session and I am happy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

might wanna check the part about cutting rear deck. that would put you in advanced i beleive. you are allowed to remove your rear speakers and use them as ports i belive

meant to put a comma in there..........lol

yes if you cut anything, you will be put into advance...the only exception is if you cut your rear speaker holes to fit bigger speakers...but then you have to leave the speakers in your rear deck...
