and this is where im at now, before i glue and screw anything down i want to make sure its all good, open to any opinions and help thanks

Looks like a good first box build! Only problem I see is it looks like the port walls might not all be perfectly straight. Could be the camera angle though. But they don't look that far off either.

Sorry just read that you haven't glued or screwed yet.. That could fix the problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

thanks dude, i had a question about the back port walls, i read somewhere that they should be half as wide as the main port, meaning my main port is 4 in and my rear port walls would be 2 in from the back...does this sound right?

Looks like a great box build. I have built like 5-10 boxes and my skills are nowhere near that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

all i have is a skil saw, jigsaw and some clamps...hit up harbor freight dude clamps are like $5...my first couple of pieces were cut at home depot too

They never cut my **** right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
They are not carpenters, and their saws although they look cool are not precision, as they are used by retards day in and day out. so good stuff turns to crap

so as my box sits now is there anywhere i should add some bracing? i was also planning on fiberglassing all the joints together and making the 45's out of resin

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
