my first blown sub... 10" l7

I bought this 04 L7 10" from shiznilti about 2 months ago. on a diamond audio d3 800.1 amp getting 610 rms @ 2 ohms, in 2.2 cu. ft. ported @ 28hz. just a few days ago i started to notice a rattle at certain frequencies.. i pulled the sub out today to check it out and there's a few tears in the cone. i've never had a problem with subs before, what should i do now? sell it? get it repaired? is there a way to repair it my self? help the noob out please //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

If you stick with Kicker that is something you'll need to get use too...I got away from Kickers years ago....They just arn't made like they were in Stillwater anymore

alright so if i keep my box, 2.2 cubes 28hz, what sub should I replace the kicker with. the box is made to fit in between my two front seats in my silverado. i could probably fit a 12" round where the 10" square was. my amp is 800 at 1 ohm and 610 at 2 ohms. exact sub/ box i have: http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=255607&highlight=10%22+l7+28hz
