what is the purpose of this beat? Just to bump or are lyrics going to be added? It has a midwest feel to it though, I make mainly westcoast music, underground type stuff.

And yeah, that transistion is abrupt as fvck, fade out the snares and keep the hats, then fade out the bass, reverse for going back into it, should sound smoother

i worked on the transitions, they sound a lot better... i'll re upload in a few...

I made it be cause my buddy wants to put some lyrics on it over the fall semester. I figured it would be something fun to do, so I started learning FL studio yesterday.

Fl is ok Acid is better but, Ableton is the best.

Did he say he was doing live sets? Ableton is by far better for sole music creation but, not so much when live sets come in case. I like Acid for live sets.

learn different programs, so u won't get stuck in a rut

Fl is a great place to start and for the most part is all you will need. Decent work bro keep it up.

ableton is the best there will ever be for live sets

I don't like it over acid pro but, many house producers use ableton for sets. It depends on the person.
