Obviously they are not the same to every last little difference, be it cosmetic or mechanical.

However the important question is... Are they similar enough to justify that price difference??

I guess it is a stupid comparison. Its like comparing the SE and SX, essentially the same motor, but with different coils and gaps.

Given that hes one of the few people to have REAL WORLD experience with both, he would know.

Havn't had the Q's in a week yet, nor have I had them in a similar type of box, nor would I be comparing apples to apples. 2 18's and 2 12's is a hard comparision.

The mags are still my favorite sounding setup, but I havn't properly installed the 18's yet IMO.

I honestly wish I hadn't sold those 12's. They were worth every penny.

Well at 4653 Hz, the SE pulls ahead by 3dB. At 56 Hz, the SX. That is assuming white is used for the logo.
