My experiment today with rear fill

As much as it is talked about I decided to unhook my 6x9's in the Honda today to see how it sounded. It didn't really sound bad. Actually tolerable and if I didn't have the funds or want to fool with the rears then I could be happy with it. It still felt like to me something was missing though! I plugged them back in and the car seemed a whole lot fuller of sound and it meshed nicely. I know many don't like it but for me I think I do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Maybe I need more time with it like that so tonight I have about 4 hours of driving where I am going to leave them unhooked and see if it changes me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Played it unhooked tonight. Plan on leaving it like that for a bit to see if it grows on me. Seems with it like this my front stage is overpowering the rear. All the sound seems centered at the front seats instead of at the back of the front seats with the fill going. Jury is still out. Don't know what it is that makes most here like no-fill best.
