THE WHOLE THING!!!
Yeah, i edited my above post after I carefully read your post. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifThats what i was refering to, I have a 300 amp with the exact same external regulator and i would like to run 16v, with no fears of the computer ever seeing more than 14.5.. But i wouldnt want to go out and get an expensive step-down module when i need to spend the money on a few 16v batterys.. The OP could do the same thing I most likely will have to do though, run the dual post kinetik. The step-down module is an option, but keeping it simple will be very helpful in my and your case (OP).
Anyways, you can go either way whether its the kinetik battery or the stepdown modules.
According to a few competitors I know, it is better to run the stepdown modules because the hybrid kinetiks cells tend to get overcharged/undercharged because of the way they are designed and charged. However, I know some people run them without issues.
