yes sadly its true went into a friends house forabout 15 mins and came back outside to find my dash ripped apart and my alpine 9855 missing.... yes i am pissed and everything but now it just kinda gives me an excuse to get a new one (witch i wanted to do anyway) but i donno what to go with... i liked my 9855 alot and may just get another one if i dont like ones suggested, ill pretty much get anything but pioneer.... dont ask i wont explain it to ya..... but please make some suggestions! i dont wanna go cd playerless for long!

there is no way that i will get a pioneer no way at all..... but i might look into kenwood exelon or somthing i wanna try somthing different maybe cuz all i have really has is alpine

cuz i have never liked the look of pioneer, not to mention that i dont like the customization..... the 9855 was a GREAT Hu and ill prolly get another one that i like it so much... but like i said i might want to excercise some other options....

I have a kenwood. mid end. i love it. going to put it in my truck, and get a new deck for my car. I don't like the display, it's digital, and thats it, and the xovers arent as detailed as i'd like, but it has a decent xover. it also has front, rear and sub out. 4v preouts. Kenwood 4028. For a budjet deck which is what i needed when i bought it, it has been great. had it for a year, no problem. 2years left on the warrenty aswell.

i love how when people get shit jacked, they worry more about replacing it then preventing it from happening again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Dude, I have a kenwood excelon and I want to sell it. It is pretty much brand new. I am not trying to sell it to you I am warning you not to get them. Haha, no joke. I heard that they have smaller than average cd rollers or something like that. Well whatever it is really sucks. The HU doesn't skip on bumpy roads or anything but it will just randomly stop or start distorting the cd's like a radio channel frequency (no what I mean?). This HU replaced a pioneer and the pioneer ran perfect. Not saying go with pioneer cuz I am not a fan either but I'd stay away from kenwood excelon.

Pioneers preouts tend to burn out after about 3months. I've had a total of 5 pioneers do this, and my brother has had 4 do it to him. soooo. I will never buy another pioneer. High end or not. I rplaced my 6700 with this kenwood above, and like i said, no problems from a budget mid end HU, so i can only imagine how good the high ends must be.
