Well the first one is no longer working. It didn't like Late Night Tip on a QSC RMX 2450 very much. The coil came unglued from the former.

And a 20hz tone is harder than Late Night Tip

Well I am not working right now. My wife works overnights and the three kids are asleep in the nighttime so I have a lot of time to do nothing.

Why bother with the cups as the T-yoke as opposed to a steel one? Looks like the second one will not have a Steel T-yoke which will drastically impact linearity and sensitivity.

No the cups are to attach the coil to the cone. Works like a spacer on both.
