I don't have any pics of the build in progress but here are some almost finished photos. Still need to do a little trim work but it's finished for the most part. This past Saturday I hit 131.4DB with my single 12"! I was very impressed by that! links to pics below, tell me what you think.

Thanks man. The piece you're referring to is the cover for my amp rack. All it is, is a sheet of 1/4" thick foam board! To get the letters resessed I first had to use a utility knife to cut each letter out! That took forever! Once the letters were cut I applied the felt. I waited for the spray glue to dry then I took the cap from a sharpie and worked the felt into the letter basically stretching it and wearing out a little as well. I repeated that process 5-6 times until I was happy with. Really easy to do, just takes a while.

Thanks. I love the components. Clean, crisp mids and hi and a really punchy mid bass as well. Rounds out the system perfectly.

How much power are you giving them? I've been eyeing these Alpines for a while. I can get a really good deal locally.

Get them! The RMS rating on them is 115. I'm giving them about 100 and they sound amazing. You will not be disappointed with them. I had the JL Audio Evolution 5 components. They retail for $650! I had them installed first and when I took the car apart for sound proofing, they were stolen by an ex-friend. I found the Type-R's at a local shop and paid $150 for them! They sound just as good and can handle more power! These things use to retail for about $400 but since they are discontinued, you can get them for next to nothing!
