My constant 12V only gets 5V

Every time I start my car my clock and all of my radio setting reset. I'm only getting 5 volts from the constant 12 volt wire in the back of my radio. Does anyone know what is wrong and what I can do to solve it?

You have a bad connection somewhere on the constant power wire. The quickest and easiest fix is to run a new wire to a constant voltage source; ie, cigarette lighter, ignition harness, fuse box or battery. Be sure to fuse your new wire if you tap at the ignition harness or battery.
