the TV light just keeps blinking.

It stoppped working, so i replaced the batteries. the cable light flashes twice, then the TV light flashes forever. I swapped back to the old batteries with no difference. I let it sit for 20min without batteries. No change.

The Comcast office is on the other side of town so by the time i get there they will be closed. The remote is for a dual tuner DVR w/ ondemand. Manual is usless.

maybe you'll reset somethign leaving them out for a while... i mean.. its worth a try.

its not trying to tell you the code is it (intermittent blinks).

i guess if the tech was a dick he could charge you 35 ontop of the 20$(assuming your rates are the same as they are here)... But i've only charged people that fee when its dumb stuff... like their box isn't working because its not plugged in, or their batteries are in backwards and they can't figure out why their remote isn't working.

 
it blinks at a steady rate with no interuptions. It's considerably faster than the setup blinks when programing codes. Pressing or holding any button did not change how it blinked. I'm wondering it is has some kind of internal error.

Comcast said they have no idea and i should swing by tomorrow for a swap or make an appointment with a tech for friday. Atleast i was only on hold for a few minutes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
