i download plenty of chopped & screwed's off youtube, i just try to make sure its at least in 480p. if you goto analyze -> find clipping its easy to tell if a song is gonna wreck your subs or not too lol

It has to do with the original source's quality. If its clipped when its recorded, as its compressed to mp3 format the clipping will just get worse

I have heard that a lot of rappers clip the original recordings.

Yea, I was kinda wondering why your instructions earlier weren't quite how to do it but it put me in the right direction. I love this thread, I have been wanting to learn how to do this for a while

same, i even tried downloading o-scopes that run on your computer but only worked if you had a pure tone..

I was playing that song that I plotted up there the other day and the subs started getting smelly and they werent even getting their rms power yet so I had to back the volume off. Now it makes alot of sense why that happened lol.
