My brother just got a DUI. . . . .

Nothing has to be done to him, he's almost 30, I am 5 years younger than him and constantly have to bail his *** out. Your right, he does have alot on his plate at the moment, more than the DUI. But ****, it's just 1 thing after another w/ him, when you think he can't f**k up anymore, he one ups himself. I am very thankful that he didn't wreck or hurt or kill anyone though.
30 years old and constantly in and out of jail? Dude at some point you gotta just let him go and say **** you to him. You bailing him out isnt gonna help. Its just says "hey bro, if you **** up...its cool cuz I'll bail you out".

Tell him to grow the fok up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

word. perhaps my statement, was a little misleading by bail him out I meant get him out of sh*t constantly. This is his 1st time in jail.

Maybe this will finally open his eyes, and marcusb419er, I am really sorry to hear that about your friend.
Not likely...if he's been in and out all the time...whats a DUI gonna do to him? Especially if you are gonna go bail him out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Hope it works out though man. You can only help him change so much, the rest is totally on him.

ah, i see. either way I'd still tell him to grow the fok up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Sucks to be him and you if you have to bail him out. I would be a good brother and teach him a lesson and let him stay in there and pay the pipper so to speak. Sometimes people have to learn the hardway.
I agree wholeheartedly. Continually bailing him out isn't helping him at all but rather is doing nothing more than making an enabler out of you.

My dad told me and my sister early on were we to ever get locked up do not bother to call him as he wouldn't come get us. If you're stupid enough to do the crime then you're stupid enough to do the time.

If operating under the influence is a constant problem for your brother then in my humble opinion jail is something that he needs. Hopefully if he spends a little time locked up it will be enough of a wakeup call to get his mind right.

The only possible outcome from continued behavior of this nature is he's either going to seriously injure or kill himself and/or others. I'm not trying to flame on you for trying to help your brother out but I will say that I have no sympathy for him at all. If he has issues with alchohol dependency then he needs to get help. If he simply doesn't care and sees no problem with his behavior then he needs a good beating before he kills a busload of schoolkids.

if ur the older brother beat it into him.. he obviously doesnt know how to listen
Post #4 very clearly states the OP is 5 years younger than the idiot brother. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/read.gif.ff512c499c00ed3faae9a20f4b088b29.gif
