Well my birthday is this sunday and I decided that I wanted some speakers and other items to build myself a pair of bookshelf speakers. Its going to be a simple 2-way setup using a 6" midrange/woofer and a 1" textile dome tweeter. I am building a passive crossover with a crossover point around 2.3khz.

Midrange/Woofer: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=297-444

Tweeters: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=277-408

I cant thank Lemans enough for the crossover design and help with driver selection //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif He really is a helpful guy.

Final Order:

As soon as these items come in I will take a few pictures. I plan on starting the enclosures tomorrow. I am going to try .5 tuned to 40.

pics of the build?
i dont know anything about home audio, looks like you do. : )
pics will be coming today of the box building. i havent started. I really dont know that much yet. This is my first true HT project. Building enclosures is what I know how to do, but designing crossovers is beyond me lol.

I did them with my tablesaw. I used an 80 tooth dewalt blade. I want to get a new one because my dewalt is getting dull but out of a $30 blade i couldnt reall expect much more. The slower you cut the smoother it will come out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
